We Need to Talk started as a personal project, sparked by a very specific annoyance—my neighbors leaving their trash in the hallway, which, naturally, attracted some raccoon visitors. That’s when I saw the perfect opportunity to turn irritation into a creative problem-solving project, designing passive-aggressive notes for those situations where direct confrontation just isn't enough.
As time passed, the collection grew beyond everyday annoyances to cover broader frustrations—like struggling with confusing work programs, my own brain misbehaving, or even the challenge of trying to get a good night’s sleep.
And the best part? All of these notes are free to download and use!
I also opened the door to submissions, inviting viewers to share their own grievances for the chance to see them turned into a future note.
